Today, as seen in the title... I got out of the house! Wooo! Christmas break just seems to keep me inside of the house, and for no real good reason... it just seems to happen. We went to the Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland, OR and went to the mall, it was a nice trip. We got Starbucks in the square, stopped and looked at the tree. It was a really nice, simple... outing with my dad and sister.
Out of all that positiveness, the best part was siting on the steps, next to the chess game/sculpture, sipping on a vanilla latte. I was just taking in Portland and all it had to offer... enjoying the site that I had played on countless times over the years. Watching the tree light up... it was gorgeous.
Tomorrow is my first day back to classes! Wish me luck, world.
