FIRST Robotics!

Like I've said in the past, I am on a FIRST Robotics team and today was the FRC Kickoff! We learned what the 6 week challenge would be! It's a game called "Locomotion" and it is really cool because it actually has two robots. The actual main cool part is that the kids will be able to experience another season and 6 week period of building. They not only build a robot, but they build friendships, they build self-confidence, teamwork skills, leadership skills, problem solving skills, and so much more. It's not just about the robot at the end of the 6 weeks, it's about the journey to the robot. 


The game this year for FRC is called "Locomotion" Here is the game animation. I will get a better quality one soon, this is just one someone got from the Kickoff this morning!

It was really cool watching and feeling the excitement of the kids even though we weren't there in NH. Once someone uploads it, I will try to get a video of the special guest of the kickoff- Will.I.Am. Seriously. It was pretty "dope" like he describes the 2011 game. 

I am currently at work, I should be working on homework... but I thought I would blog now and do homework later since my client is taking a nap. :] 

I may or may not add more stuff later if more positive things arise in the day! It can only get even more amazing from now on!
